That is cute, I wonder, have you shown this to anyone on gateworld forums? this is a good insight to these poorly mistreated guys! heck I like the Wraith too, how else to I beat up the characters in my fanfics? Really nicely done!
Haha, I love your wraith. "Yeah, whatever." The human lady looks kinda like Elizabeth in Athosian garb, don't know if you meant it.
I'm not sure what to think of Wraith gender politics. Obviously the females are in charge, and they appear to be in the minority... yet the only wraith kid we've met is female, which should be against the odds. On the other hand, I suppose maybe there's always females in charge, but there are stay-at-home Wriath mums, too. That could even out the overall gender ratio.
The creators of the show are going for an insect vibe with the wraith in addition to the vampire thing... they're descended from the Iratus bug, their ships are called hives, and they're run by an exceptional female, like many social insects. Yet if they really wanted to take this all the way, they would have made the Wraith a race of Amazons; workers and soldiers of most social insects are sterile females. I think they probably wanted to emulate human roles to some extent in making males the footsoldiers, but I don't know why they haven't throw in any other females but the queen so far.
A female led society! That's how they kicked the Ancients's collective asses, women in charge!I'd make a snazzy wraith queen, I'd fit right in with my general aura of evil.I think having just a few powerful female wraith makes more impact, you can imagine them orchestrating the chaos from behind the scenes.
Maybe stay at home wraith women live somewhere else, as the Hives seem to be very military and businesslike.
I think the red haired ones are keeper kinda people and they look after the others when the sleep.I also think they heal the ships or something, cos the ships are organic, but don't quote me on that.Besides, they're not married.Norman's not even entirely sure it's his, but you don't argue with scary wraith lady.
